I'm trying this again.

Here I go again for the upteenth time trying to write something that makes sense to me, I have so much

to say but when it comes to writing I seem to draw a blank but here goes I'm trying so hard to change

the way my mind thinks I've had enough of the stinking thinking and I want to move forward with the

present now I will add this will be interesting since I seem to be my own worse enemy always have

been, just give me a stick constantly beating myself up. Today I truly want to try something different

and this is why I hope this writing will help. I have been trying to keep busy doing my cancer advocacy

this is very important to me since going through my battle with anal cancer I was diagnosed in 2009

and this was a month after we lost the beautiful an amazing Farrah Fawcett on June 25,2009 and doing

her battle all I was hearing these whisperings about her death, and if that wasnt bad enough I was going

back and forth from the oncologist trying to figure out what was wrong with me, I thought I was just

having a hemorrhoid problem. But on July 27, 2009 a week after my 50th birthday I got the news, "I

Have Cancer."... never seen that coming. Today all I want to do is advocate for cancer also a week later

I was told I also have hodgkin's lymphoma and although I advocate for all cancers, I do more for anal

cancer because of the stigma, And today I choose to lose the stigma and hopefully save a life.

Stop by and show us some love over at Butt-wiser.

I prevent cancer for all those who suffered anal cancer and lost there battle never knowing what was happening with their bodies, and for us dealing with it today some who are just learning there fate and then there are those like me who have survived this very rare and painful cancer. I prevent cancer for all today trying to raise awareness it's even more important now because anal cancer is on the rise. I prevent cancer for all who still don't want to talk about this cancer I understand it was very hard for me as well, I was very scared with many questions and I was also mourning this beautiful angel Farrah Fawcett who had just lost her  life to anal cancer on June 25, 2009 we also lost Micheal Jackson on the same day it was a very hard day for many so many questions and so little answers I was coming from oncologist on this day and diagnosed a month later after my 50th birthday what luck my zodiac sign is cancer but today I say,'I'm a moonchild",  and I prevent cancer for me because I want to make a difference I definitely want to prevent anyone else from getting this cancer or any cancer for that matter.https://www.facebook.com/AnalCancerRibbonPage

Relay For Life

The fight against cancer goes on and I know we're going to win this thing! Hardly anyone I know can say they DON'T have a friend or relative that has battled this terrible disease. I'm asking for your help in raising funds because I think it's important that we all join together to help win.
The best way to fight against cancer is through the American Cancer Societys Relay for Life. I will be dedicating my walk to Farrah Fawcett who lost her battle with anal cancer.
Relay for Life is a team event that celebrates cancer survivors, and raises funds for the American Cancer Society research, education, prevention, advocacy and patient services. It is a fun, outdoor and overnight fundraising event where teams take turns walking or running around a track.
My team,Calvins Angels will be joined by hundreds of others (June 16,17 2012) at the (West Potomac High School Alexandria,Virginia). Millions of people nationwide take part in Relay for Life events around the country. Relay raises over 40% of the funding for the American Cancer Society.
The Relay starts off with a Survivor's Walk, where cancer survivors walk the initial lap, symbolizing the courage that survivors and their families display and sustain in their lives.
Opening night, there is a beautiful and touching Luminaria Ceremony that pays tribute to cancer survivors and to loved ones who still live on in our hearts.
Additionally, you may purchase a luminaria to honor someone fighting cancer or in remembrance of someone who has lost their battle with cancer.

During the Luminaria Ceremony, candles are placed in luminary bags and lit on usually first night of Relay at luminaria ceremony). The votives burn throughout the night, serving as a reminder of the purpose of Relay for Life. http://tinyurl.com/6tj7egn
Relay for Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
Thank you for supporting the fight against cancer!
Relay for Life: There is no finish line until there's a cure!
